i Club neither support nor promote street racing and doing stupid things on public roads. Especially racing around at speeds of over 100mph. Sometimes we let these kinds of posts slide depending on the reaction of the members. You post got a pretty bad reaction, so we had to shut it down. To be sure no one closes a thread like this for you, take it to some other place that doesn't care about stuff like this, e.g. Club Si.

here we go with the bashing again. i think that club si is pretty cool , i have nuthin against them and there site is more interestin. it seems like the i club only supports rally and auto x. and for my topic gettin closed i believe its freedom of speach and i should be able to talk bout what i like. i see that there is lots of hypocrits in here and its bull****. i race on an open highway at 2 am with no one on the road besides me and the gsr.

You are very wrong man. There is no freedom of speach here. When you signed up for the board, you agreed to the following rules:

#1. Any Subaru enthusiast can freely visit the i Club website and post messages on the bulletin board.
#2. While the club is very Impreza orientated, any North American Legacy, Forester or SVX owner can
become an official i Club member and post messages on the message board.
#3. Any overseas Subaru enthusiast can become an honorary member of the i Cluband post messages on the message board.
#4. i Club creators and maintainers reserve the right to edit any and all content of the message board.
#5. The views expressed on the message board are not necessarily those of the i Club.
#6. Vulgar profanity is prohibited on the message board.
#7. Absolutely no "elite" style (***, @@@, iMpReZa) or all caps writing is allowed anywhere on the
message board and especially in the subject lines.
#8. No double posting (posting the same message in 2 different forums) is allowed.
#9. Vendors must post all their commercially orientated messages in the Vendors Classifieds forum.
#10. Please try to keep off topic posts to a minimum.
#11. Only post to the For Sale forum if you are posting a for sale or wanted ad.
#12. Trolls are not welcome on the i Club board.
#13. Please always try to be considerate of your fellow i Club members. The club is comprised of men and women, young and old, white, black, and all shades in between. Please keep this in mind when posting. Thus, no ethnic-specific posts, please.
#14. No flame wars. If a topic is inflammatory, the moderators will take care of it.

So, we live by the rules here and if you can't or don't want to follow these rules, then you can either not post here or not ask me why you post got deleted/closed.

As for the club Si, I am not bashing it. I like it myself for what it is. The reason I sent you there, is becuase they love stories like that.

I have spoken!

I am too tired to explain this all to you. Re-read the rules again if you don't understand what I am talking about. Like I said, if noone would have turned this into a street racing issue, we wouldn't have closed it. So, when you post something that might turn into street racing, remember, thats it might get closed or deleted.

Bruno-
Sorry if I was flaming you too much on your topic of street racing, saying that you are an idiot and stuff...
In a way I just wanted to give you some advice on how and where to drive really fast. I recommend racing in auto-cross/Solo2, Pro-Rally, 1/4 mile drags and most of all enter the Nevada Silver State Classic where you race at top-speed only (1 car at a time) for 92 miles. (your specialty
I got a video from Duke Video that shows this incredible race. Some day I'll enter it..how bout you? Take it easy, Happy Holidays!

Bruno - I'm sure 90% of members will agree with me in saying that its hard to respect the opinion of someone who can't spell or speak properly. This isn't 'da hood' and the way you write you come off like an uneducated brat. If you posted the same street racing topic and sounded intelegent it would still generate a few anti-street racing flames, but people would still be more willing to listen to you. I'm sure that you are a pretty decent, nice, smart guy (you did, after all, buy an Impreza ), but you come off as a moron. The real world isn't impressed by the tough guy thing. Try cleaning up your posts and see what happens.

Alex, as silly as it sounds, I don't think you can judde someone's "moronity" due to the way in which they posted their message. I am sure that their are over 50% of the members here that were not born in this country, and do not speak English well. As far as "ghetto" writing, it may just be his way of expressing himself.

And Bruno, seriously bro, keep it on the track. The I Club does not only support auto-x and rally-x, but it supports every kind of sanctioned autosport. We're building a drag car (Impreza) and a road car (Legacy) and support is there from every aspect.

Lastly, Alex, I wasn't trying to sound like an ass to you, just want people to realize that their are alot of people on this board not of American origin that may not speak or write well in English.

Have a Nice Day?

I'm not sorry... you're an idiot! As you grow up and spend more time behind the wheel you will see innocent people hurt or killed because of stupid things like street racing. We all here are enthusiastic drivers, just keep in in the woods or on an empty road. That way the only one who must live with your mistakes is you.

Whats that all about? I don't know if you knew that, but I myself and not of American origin. I am very far from being American and English is just one of 4 languages that I speak. Why did you bring this up? Have I pointed out to anyone their's spelling grammar, ect? I have no idea why you said that.

I need to sleep!!!

DAMn RIght! Thats the best way to race because its LEGAL and u dont get killed doing so. (well u can..but...well you know )
Hey, everyone is down with a street race here and there, but at those speeds ur lookin for trouble.
Stories like that are just not respected here, so..well..kinda keep them to urself. Everyone has played with their cars and gone damn fast, but its not something we brag about here. Yeah we may seem like old men, but I am sure that it comes from experience. Dis 8nt n0 ClUbSi b00rd

True! Im on the same boat, so to speak, and yeah, maybe i misspell things, etc...but saying things like "nuttin" , "sumthin" , "bout" isnt really out of ignorance of english..

Bruno, the only thing i have to say is that you have to be pretty dense to pick a fight with the owner of the site, and not shut up about it after the second and third very obvious reprimand from him...

Thumbs down

hmmm... hey mr bruno...

did you know that things you say, write, post on a public BBS such as this can... can... CAN be used against you in a court of law???

doubt me??? well it's true... i've done it...

just a bit of advice... be careful what you "brag" about in the future... not just because you upset the balance of the board, but because it may come back on you one day...

ProgSi hit the nail on the head. There is a difference between english as a second (or third or fourth) and "ghetto" english.

I agree that his "ghetto" english might be expressing his personality, but he has to realize that that type of personality is not well respected. It is unfortunate, but in this world we are all judged by our appearences, including the way we speak/write, and his doesn't come off well.

Alex - not Imprezer!

Edit - What the heck is that picture about?!
