Thumbs down

how come Argentina even get s a better looking model then the North Amercian version?

what is it with SOA?? sports seat too dangerous here?? or 4 pot brakes make the car stop faster and make cars behind hit the new WRX??

SOA is just messed... just look how they messed the Legacy and Impreza now... at least give us the look for the car if they cant give performance!! then we dont have to shop around for V5/6 wings, grills, etc etc...

Yes it will. Speedos in cars destined for the UK have both (we are allowed to drive on the continent you know ).

> how come Argentina even gets a better looking model then the North Amercian version?

Because it's not in North America?

Most countries, it seems, get the "world" version - with roughly the same spec. But the US and Canada get their own special versions.

> what is it with SOA??

Cost. Cost cost cost. They remove stuff which isn't strictly necessary. Speed limits are generally low, and often rigorously enforced. So the brakes don't need to be quite as strong, the wheels are generally comfort-oriented, and typical drivers will tend to prefer comfort-oriented seating. And if there is no federal requirement for side markers, so why fit them?

On the upside, if the WRX gains a largely enthusiast following, then SoA can be less compromising with seating, brakes etc. But it's a new car for the market, so...
