Default Posted this on the General Forum, but I stopped by Grand Prix Subaru in Hicksville,

Long Island today, and besides being balled on a trade-in price for my S4, I was told something very odd.

I'm in the market for an Aspen White STi, and the salesman told me that Subaru is no longer offering White for the STi .

He added that the owner of the dealership had placed an order for an Aspen White STi for himself, only to have SOA tell him that white is no longer being offered.

I asked him why this would be the case, since white is a popular color and that the regular WRX is available in white as well.

Basically, he did not know why SOA has done this, but gave me my other color options: Black, Silver, & WR Blue.

Anybody here of this?

BTW, they offered me a very good price on the car though, but I'm selling my S4 myself.

There is a whole thread from about 2 days ago on this topic. According to Subaru corporate that is BS. Saleaman probably doesn't feel loke working. Check last few days about josh looking for white STI.

Default Many thanks. I guess I need to frequent these forums more often. Actually,.........

the price given to me by Grand Prix Subaru was very good. Most NYC area dealers are still tight to MSRP.

Anyway, I'm not in a major rush, but I'll search around again.

Thanks for the info.

BTW, anybody know the owner of a WR Blue STi in Corona / Elmhurst, Queens?

I've seen it three times.
