It should fit easilly, the only thing you have to do is weld a new flange.
I had one in my garage, but I gave it to my friend who drives a Honda Civic, he-he, sorry ![]() Nick White MY99 GT

I was wondering if the dual tip European Imprezza GT (220hp) exhaust bolts up to the US 2.5 and if they are easily available used.
I would prefer a dual tip(purely aesthetics), but I do not want any increased noise nor do I want to pay $400 for a Stromung. Do any GT owners have thier original exhaust laying around that they would be willing to sell? Thanks, Tim |

I don't think the flange will match up at the axle...unless you got the complete cat-back exhaust then it might fit.

Scoobyshag is right, I believe they have the larger 30 degree off horizontal turbo flange. It would be the same case if you bought the STi muffler from SPD.
you will most likely have to get a new flange put on your midpipe. But, the hangers and such are the same. (this is the muffler the local R&D Suby office has on their turbo GT) |

Cutting off and welding on a new flange is OK if everything else lines up. I would think many of our European friends should have the original exhaust collecting dust in thier garages.
If I could get a hold of one cheap enough, I would be willing to experiment. I might be better off getting a dual tip universal that is not too loud. Tim |
