Default seat covers

Anybody know of a good place (internet) to pick up some good quality seat covers for an 04 XT?

u mean the kind u just pull over your seats, or are u resurfacing them altogether?

if it's the pullover type, be careful what u choose because of the side airbags that come out of the sides of the seats...

Yes, I was thinking of the pullover type, but obviously I shouldn't do it for the reason you mention. Thanks!

I use saddle blankets--30" x 60", heavy duty wool. The heavy blankets are stiff enough that they pretty much stay in place on their own and they will absorb a lot of dribbled coffee. At the tack shops around here, they run about $25-$40 a piece.

Thumbs up Wet Okole Rocks!!!

I agree with the last post. I just insalled a set of Wet Okole seat covers and they are awsome! The trick is to turn em inside out , then roll em down like a condom(best way to describe). They are super comfy and they look good too. Call and talk to Stephen or email him at Stephen@wetokole.com , he is very friendly and helpful. I'm now considering getting the seat covers for the back seat. Good luck!

Cool Air Bags, no prob!

Call or email stephen, he may ask some questions about the seat. I even sent him some pics, just to help him. They have a small opening on the seat to let out the air bag if it is deployed.

OMGHi2U I've had wool seat covers

They seem a little hot for me in the summer, nice in the winter. I live in california where it is mostly hot, so I like the neoprene one better. The Sheepskins are also more $$ than the wet okole. Check out the Wet Okole web site at http://www.wetokole.com/ . I don't work for the company,I'm just a happy customer!

Hey Grandmasterlooney:
Do the wet okoles give major swamp butt? Sounds like a stupid question, but I'm serious...
I know they're neoprene, so I don't think they breathe too well, so I'm wondering if they make your "okole" sweat like mad...this is why I'm thinking about getting seat covers in the first place.

Thanks!

I know the seats have the little tags on em ... but I'm sure I've seen pics of them coming from the window edge.

Can anyone explain the uninflated part of the side airbag?

See the second pic up from bottom right:

http://www.subaru.com/servlet/resear...command=photos

I can only think that it's a hollow for your noggin so it doesn't skim off to the side as you're hit

Thumbs up Hey BlueWRXagon

Sorry for the late response. I have not had the seat covers in really hot situations. So, honestly I don't know yet?
