Default 04 sti seats can i keep my seat heaters?

The question is can i just swap seat covers so i can keep my heated seats in my 04 wrx.. Or will i have to get aftermarket seat heaters?

If you are swapping the cover material from your WRX seats to the STi seats you want to install...why are you bothering?

i think it's so he doesn't have to 'extract' the heaters if they are embedded in there somewhere. i'm going to do the same thing, have the sti set in my garage now have to find time to play with it.

What is the difference in '04 WRX seats versus '04 STi seats? Is it not just the fabric?

As I posted earlier, it's just a cover swap.

door panels are easy too, takes like 5 min a door to remove, back seat takes 10 min front seats 10min floor (pita) but not too bad, had that out too. I really don't want to do a cloth switch, I have tried it before. But if someone can convince me I might do it.

If we have everything prepped before we meet it should take barely any time to exchange, bolt in the front seats, and go home and put it all back together.

I am serious about a perfect interior though and I trust everyone who has made offers is being honest.

Thanks and I'll keep everyone updated. I should be picking up the sti friday or saturday because I have to remove my defi gauges and amps from my car. I will also have some JDM parts from my MY02 wrx to sell if anyone is interested let me know.

ok, i just played around with my seats and getting the covers off is a pain in the a**. it's not just the zippers, there are hogrings inside and i don't want to mess with those. i think now i either need to give up on my sti seats or sell my wrx seats with the heaters included.
