Default Someone please read, and tell me if this is cool to do or not

I've got my VF34 turbo, fuel pump, and injectors. I have a business trip next week. I should have time to at least install the turbo and fuel pump this weekend. Is it cool to drive my car like this? When I get back from my trip, I can send my ecu backoff and then install the injectors. I'm assuming this is ok because the turbo will run as if the TD04 was still there. The bigger fuel pump shouldn't hurt anything. Need some replies by Saturday, thanks.

Just stay off boost, and you'll be perfectly fine.

Do you have a boost gauge? If not, that should take priority over any of the other installs.
Don't go WOT in upper gears...

Personally, I don't make any changes just before a long trip. I want to drive it around town for a while where if it gives me trouble, I'm close to home.

This is good advice, unless you like being somewhere in the middle of nowhere with a busted engine.
