The lights directly beside the headlights have a screw holding them in. You have to open the hood and then look on top of the headlight closest to the corner lens, remove that screw. Once you have removed the screw, the lights are held in by a clips, to remove the light push it towards the front of the car, it will be pretty tight but they will come out. One firm smack with the palm of your hand should pop them free.

Damon,
are you talking about the corner lamps next to the headlights? Those aren't blinkers? The Orange is just for reflection. If this is what you are talking about there is 1 screw on the top that you unscrew and then you must push the entire corner lamp forward with even pressure and it will pop out. Let me know if this is the lamp you are talking about. Regards, Stacey |

Fishguy, I think he is talking about getting the lights off, not turning them off

lol, thanks anyway fishguy
yea.. thats what im talking about sbsnyder.. thats what im talking about. so just the one screw right? i took that one off (the one that connects the blinker to the headlight) but i read somewhere that there was one on the bottom of the blinker. i shall try that tomorrow and see if i that will help. so one hard push directly in the middle of the blinker towards the car will get if off? or is it the headlight that i need to push in toward the car to get to the blinker? thanks guys. im doing the home depot gutter guard insert grilles in my car. once i get completely through, ill post pics. im not gonna take credit for the idea. someone else on here with a red impreza with "beauty of all wheel drive" written on the hood did this mod. |

Damon,
Yep. Just that one screw that connects the corner lamp to the headlight. Use the palm of your hand on the side of the corner lamp and push towards the front of the car with consistent firm pressure. It will eventually make a pop sound and come out. It took me about 5-10 minute to take the left and right ones out and replace them with the clear corner lamps. Good luck, Stacey |

Not towards the middle of the car... if you are standing in front of the car facing rear, you would pull it straight back towards you. Do it gently though... the tab the screw goes through is only plastic and it breaks easily (and nobody is allowed to ask how I know that! )

Why do you have to take off the corners to get the bumper off? Yea, I broke one of mine too.
