Default Fuseable link Qusetion

My brother did somethig with the batt on his 92 loyale and blew the black 1.25 fuseable link. I was wondering how thick the wire is b/c I was just going to make another one. I think $14 is a lil much for a 2 inch wire. I already have the connectors I just wanted to make sure I use the right guage wire.
Thanks
Jon

MAKING one WOULD NOT be a good idea..... Hence the name "fuse"able link..... it acts as a fuse.... putting in regular wire could cause a meltdown....
