Default Would you trust the Ebayer?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=3945

He has a boatload of positive remarks, but the ONLY negative ones seem to concentrate on the exact type of items I'm looking for (Neo Geo MVS carts).

This is a great deal, and I emailed him back and forth and he assured me that everything is legit.

Still seems fishy for some reason.

If you're not sure then don't buy or use some kinds of Escrow.com service.

1500 for outdated games?
you have to be kidding me... or is it some sort of kitchy "retro Kool" thing that is sweeping the nation?

Each MVS cart, at the bare minimum, would sell for $100. Some are more.

$100 * 15 alone = $1500. Plus the system, plus the AES to MVS converter.

Value-wise, it's a great deal.

I just dunno if he can be trusted.

Looking at his feedback, it looks like he might be selling bootlegged cartridges... not sure what that translates into in terms of function - odds are they still work fine, but if you are coughing up that money because it's supposed to be an original, it looks like there is a good chance it is not.

I know they are not originals.

There are 2 types of cartridges for Neo Geo. MVS and AES.

AES are carts sold for the home system.
MVS are carts sold strictly for arcade machines.

AES carts are ultra-expensive. MVS carts are drastically cheaper as they are meant for arcade use.

Well, there is a converter that switches AES to MVS, so one can buy MVS carts and play them at home.

MVS carts do not come with any documentation.

I know they are not original.
