Default Static noises using a fm modulator

yeah i've been rather upset w/ my audiovox fm modulator in the past about some slight static it gets while i'm trying to watch a dvd. Can anyone suggest a fix? i've got the power and signal lines going up opposite sides of the car but still not that great.

on that note can someone recomend a good Am FM cd, dvd reciever? I've looked at the pioneer and i'm not sold just yet. However are there any other good options out there?

FM mods are grap, the sound you get from them is ONLY as good as the FM transmitter signal and also subject to interference just as and radio device.....thats prolly why your gettin static....

As far as a DVD head, lots of companies make'em Sony, pioneer, Panasonic, Alpine, Kenwood.....Compare using a Crutchfield catalog or some web-sites and then hit up Ebay for a deal....
