Angry Customer Service Problems!!!

I'm having HUGE problems with subaruparts.com. I ordered something on last Friday, and they sent me a confirmation a few moments later. Great. So a couple of days went by and I decided to check the status of my order. Their website "shipping" section was down. So I tried to call them. They didn't answer. Then I emailed them. Again, no answer. I emailed them again the next day, again, no answer. I checked the status yesterday and it said my order didn't exist!!! So I emailed them again, and guess what! NO ANSWER! I should have just gone down to my local shop... would have spent twenty bucks more, but I would have had the stuff already.

Does anybody know what it takes to get some customer service from these JERKS???
PS Before I ordered I asked if I couldn't just come down and pick it up and they said not for the same price. Seems if they don't charge you for shipping, then they mark the product back up to retail.
Will I ever buy from them again? Probably NOT. Will I tell people to run far far away? YES, and I already have.

Yeah, I know he's busy, but come on. I haven't been hiding the fact that I'm a little concerned from him in my email to him. All it would take is a quick responce telling me why my order doesn't exist in their system and when I can expect the product to get me off his back. If he's out sick, they need to have somebody cover for him, like the lady who answered the phone before I ordered.

Just tried calling again.. no answer. Another thing... he hasn't charged my credit card yet. If the part is back ordered his lazy arse should have called or emailed saying it wouldn't be shipping for a while. I'm not going to ease up on him until somebody steps up and takes care of the customer. This is just poor business. Really sad.

Angry

50 orders a day is one every 10 minutes, assuming he works a normal 8 hour day. Does he have time to answer his phone? Does he have time to check his email? Since he's NOT the only person answering the phone I should think so. I just sent him YET another email. Since placing the order I have not gotten any responce from them other than the automatically generated ones.

Unhappy

OK, he finally called me back after the last flame I sent him. Here's the scoop:
When I filled out my order online it said have a nice day, and sent me a confirmation email. #0607. Apparently that's all it did, because it never made it into his database. OK, I can understand that. Computer glitches happen. Customer service glitches shouldn't happen. My order, 0607, along with several others 0611, 0612? etc. did not get entered into their system. So if you ordered something last Friday, check the status and see if it's actually coming.
That said, I'm still hacked off that Scott didn't respond to my first email. He said he only got two emails from me, so be it. More computer problems? That's still a major flaw. Had I gotten a response two days ago I could still have re-ordered the product and had it before this weekend. In the future if I decide to order from them, I won't do it online.

I'm having this same problem with Mike Shields of SPD Tuning, but, I never received any confirmation of my order, I called his order line, and his message states that he will still take orders through email, but I have yet to receive anything from him. This is making me quite upset, what kind of Cust. Service is this? Yes I understand he is a one man business, but with that in mind, shouldn't he atleast get back to me on *** is going on? I have my CC# in his mail box just floating around.

Smile

Just an update. It's now a bit over two months later and... guess what! He's still got some customer service issues. Last time I spoke with him, back in January, I relayed my intentions of doing business with him in the future. So a week ago, 3/12/01, I emailed both Scott at www.subaruparts.com and Lisa at subaruparts.homestead.com/subaruparts.html to ask two very simple questions.
1) How much for the oil filter/crush ring
2) Do you accept Subaru/MBNA points coupons.

Lisa returned my email THAT day. One week later and still no answer from Scott.

Rest assured I'm not going to waste my time in the future bothering with Scott or www.subaruparts.com. In January he was "busy" and hiring somebody to help out. Two months later nothing has changed. That to me displays a true business pattern. Sorry Scott, you've lost my business forever unless you've got a really good reason for not returning messages. I'd rather pay too much and go to Melody's. At least they are available and accountable.

I HIGHLY encourage you to patronize Lisa ( subaruparts.homestead.com/subaruparts.html ) for any needs. If it's not on her website, she'll look it up and get back to you. AWESOME customer service.

I ordered from there and I recieced my parts withing 10 days. He even emailed me the tracking numbers. He uses US priority mail which is better than UPS in my mind. I called the 800 number that I found on the site to place my order. I was happy with my experiance there after hearing some of the complaints.

The best service I ever recieved from a vender was from Paul at Primitive Racing. I had a question about pricing/shipping and he got back to me in 20 min. Not bad.
