Default boost

What Stage are you running? I had boost values that high on my Stage 2 setup. If you are nervous about it, reduce all of the boost values by the same amount and work your way up from there until you get to the desired boost level.

Thanks...I am running a stage2 map these are supposedly for a stage2 map...but they did not mention having to be in open or closed loop...that is the only difference I can see.

If the boost values are above 100 you must be in CLB.

must be CLB and remember that higher or lower values can be just a twist of the ABC away... 2 people can easily achieve the same boost w/ different boost map numbers by adjusting the ABC.. the more important thing is where it does what it does to get your turbo to spool quickly w/ out overboosting.

Closed loop boost will end up giving you more boost earlier in more gears, it's pretty easy to tune, and it's less weather dependent then open loop boost control. This is why most people use closed loop boost control while tuning using utec boost control. Remember that you have to change the boost value in the special preferences to 0 instead of 1 for closed loop boost control when you use a closed loop boost map(because of the different numbers). There is no reason to use someone elses closed loop boost map because it really doesn't take long to get a boost map close to where you want it. If you read the utec manual about boost, micks guide, and look through a few posts about closed loop boost control, you shouldn't have many problems.

peace

BUT they SHOULD just have the ABC out two turns, and adjust the boost via the map.
