So how many of you put a deposit on the AccessPort already?

I can't seem to find on their website how to put a deposit, they dont really mention anything about the system.

I ordered a month ago. You just order like you are buying it. You will just get charged 1/2 the cost as a deposit till it ships.

I ordered mine today

I should get it just after my tax return if the gov't isnt to fast. Its going to be worth the wait is all i can say.

What makes the AccessPort better than the UTEC, they do the same thing right? Or what extra features does it have.

If money is no object what is the most advanced, powerful and well supported Engine Management system available? I realize its uncommon for a money is no option answer to exsist but I'm thinking hypothetically.

Access port simply allows you to have mulitple maps and reflash your ecu at will, but its NOT user tuneable.

The utec will switch maps also, but it is fully user tuneable.

if you spend the extra money (totalling around 900 for accessport and software license) you have a user-tuneable accessport

Access tuner is the way I'm going. No way I'm piggybacking or splicing when I can directly adjust Subaru's ECU.

Does anyone know if the Access Port and Access ECU (which I preordered a few weeks ago) will get rid of CEL caused by a downpipe install? I thought I remembered reading something about it taking care of that, but can't find it now.

Yes it will. I got one right after I placed my TXS stealthback. As soon as I put my reflash on (stage 2), gone !

Ordered mine 3 weeks ago - guess COBB will start shipping mid-Feb. One other thing, in addition to getting rid of the CELs for an UP & DP change I think you can also read CELs.

Also - when you are ready for Stage 3 - it's like $20 bucks to get the map.

I have one pre-ordered and was planning on just stage 1 for now. Will I get the much talked about metal "pill" often needed for the stage one with the Accessport? Or do you need to request that seperately?
