Default Is your FXT like this?

Every once in awhile I do a web search on google to see what folks are saying about the FXT. I think I saw this article before, but this time I happened to notice something I hadn't noticed before. Take a look at the engine. My intake does not look like that. From the looks of it they are bypassing the air silencer there. Perhaps this was a pre-production model?

A quote from the artice:

Quote:
Additionally, the engine/exhaust tuning made the sound of the turbo-charger slightly more in-you-face upon brisk acceleration than I would prefer in this child- and mail-carrier.
I for one have to strain to hear my turbo at all, especially if the radio is on.

And even the air intake is not the same as the USDM. That's more like the legacy or outback's 2.5:L intake which attaches under the hood.
