Exclamation Politics: Gore or Bush?

Gore...simply because he said that when he becomes the new president, he will have the secret service kill whoever designed the new Impreza.

Personally I don't think anyone who is really qualified to be president want's the job. After all, what person wants their life put under a microscope for public view unless their ego is out of control.

Gore is anti-car, anti-gun, anti-military, anti-freedom of speech and therefore in my book anti-American.

ahhhhh, the voice of reason. I was
going to start a topic discussing Lieberman's
stand on censorship and why you should either
not vote, or vote for Bush. Seems many of you have come to that conclusion on your own.
One more reason I'm proud to be a suby-lover.
(btw, gore supporters, i respect your choice.we both know the president's personal views mean very little with our congressional
system being so RETARDED) I would rather not vote for someone who thinks we should limit the sex and violence in movies(Lieberman)(the US is the most sexually repressed society on EARTH!) and Tipper was the one who championed restricting free speech in music. The recording companies agreed to warning stickers...she wanted swears BANNED!

The article about Bush signing all of those death penalty papers, without knowing if they were truely guilty really kinda scared me. One inmate put to death every two weeks is quite a frightening statistic for him, I really dont know what to think. I was thinking of not voting at all, but that might do more harm than good.

If you don't like Gore or Bush vote Libertarian. They're basically anti big government, anti-censorship, anti gun control, pro-legalaization of drugs, prostitution, gambling, etc.
Sounds like common sense to me.

I wasn't going to post but here it goes..

We don't have a very good choice. And as bad of choices that Clinton has made he is still 10 times better for the job than both put together. Neither can talk and if they try to sound forcefull you can tell their faking it. At least Clinton could lie and make it sound good. I am independant and will not vote a party line. God help us. "Depends what is is"

eugenekid: That's Texas. Don't criticize the Governor unless you've lived there... what Bush did is exactly what any elected Governor would do because that's what the voters demand.

-One of the first states to pass a concealed-carry law
-Very much legal to defend your PROPERTY with lethal force (some states you can't even defend YOURSELF)
-You can drive with an open container so long as you're not legally drunk

I was under the impression Bush would push for all he did in Texas over all the U.S. I'm not very political as you can tell, it was just very disturbing to hear.

So who do we write in?

Both worry me for different reasons.

Bush seems too much like a good old boy, gun totin, not thinking for himself, likes a good execution now and again.

Gore on the other hand is the perfect example of a politician. Censorship is a big issue. He seems to sit on the fence until decisions have to be made. At least Clinton would do something. Good or bad, it was some type of movement. Gore is too afraid to step out of line to do anything.

Normally I don't double post on a thread unless I have something new to say, but:

Why would anyone vote democratic? Seriously, I'm being sincere, why? They want to and will raise taxes, they want to and will keep decreasing our ability to defend ourselves, they want to and will ban all guns - of all types, they want to and will keep dividing people with programs and quotas, they want to and will lead us to moral relativism - where no one or nothing is either wrong or right, they want to and will keep taking away freedoms piecemeal - speech, expression, protection, financial, and more.

Please justify to me voting for Gore, who said the internal combustion engine (what powers your Subes in case you didn't know) was the most dangerous invention of all time. Hmmm, I thought the nuclear weapon would get that award.

First, anyone who thinks Reagan wasn't the ultimate President is more stupid than they are ignorant.

Second, my parents aren't rich either. And they retire this year. And they vote Republican. Why? Because they know the Democrats are full of crap and only demogogue social security to scare people into voting for them. But besides all this, why should I have to pay for your parent's retirement anyway? Or even my own parent's for that matter.
