Default 2003 Outback dies while cruising on freeway/30-40mph?

I'm posting this for a friend -

His 2003 legacy outback has been having some problems, it suddenly dies on either the highway, or cruising at 30-40 mph..

the car will restart without a problem, and has no CEL codes.

The dealership looked at the car and found that there was nothing wrong with the car that they could see (in typical dealership fashion).

Any suggestions?

Hmmm, check battery connections, spark plugs, and the main electrical fuse(~60amps). You could also have someone scan it.

Same thing used to happen to me, and restarted without a problem and I had no CEL

My knee was hitting the key, and turning the car off.
