Default no CEL without gas cap? should be on right?

I lost my gas cap, and expected the CEL but nothing. Is something wrong with my car?

Went and got a cap from schucks, just any cap because they didnt have one "for my vehicle"

Have noticed slight bog when engine is initially accelerated after just starting. Could lack of tank pressure be problem?

it may take awhile for the CEL to come on, only after the on board diagnostics runs an evap emmissions test. That could take a long time, or a short time.

get the cap from the dealer its like 20 bucks.

Default so its just an emissions thing?

So it is just an emissions thing then?

Then it guess it is not the cause of the bog I am experiencing after starting and first acceleration?

The cap I got seems to fit, just wasnt "specified" for my car. I have been dricing it for 3 months now with this cap and no CEL.

nothing is wrong with your car I had to bring my car through the dmv and they forgot to put the cap back on it so I was driving for about two days before I was able to get another one from my brother's work and I still didn't have the cel problem...
