Have a Nice Day? Oh my god. What have I just done

I just finished ordering the $800 shop manual for my 99 RS.

I guess I just got sick of local Subaru mechanics not having any awnsers.

Damn thats half of the Haltec E6K unit I want to get

Scan. PDF. Post. How many pages is it, and is it just a standard book or does it have all those foldout schematics? Trunkmonkey Racing would be more than happy to scan the entire book and put it up. Uhm. Under license, of course!

Trunkmonkey is here! Vinyl windshield banners and decals now available!

I would guess that it's like 5 or 6 books, with all the schematics, flow charts, etc. An invaluable asset if you like working on your car.

WOW!!!! That price when WAY UP!!! When I bought my 95 Impreza, I purchased the shop manuals for about $200. I came as 2 Large books, (about 800-1000 pages in each.) It contains EVERYTHING you need. Complete with full schematics of the engine, trans, suspension, electrical and body. (You can disassemble and reassemble your whole car with this reference.

Yeah it's pricey but in order to get them for my 99 I had to buy all the books from 1993-99. Figures they redesigned the 2000 manual and is only $250.

God I hate 2000s
limited slip,map,etc.,etc.,etc.
phooey

I might get shot at for this, but I could have sworn I saw the MY99 manuals on a web site somewhere for $600-ish about 3-4 mts. ago.

FYI the MY00 manuals are 8-9 books and stacked sit about 7" high. Course, I still haven't gotten to utilize them since my car isn't into randomly breaking (finally, a decent car!).
