Default what utec to get for 03 wrx???

what version or whatever is going to work on an 03, I have heard that certain ones dont work. I am trying to buy a used utec and dont want to get the wrong thing.

Hey bro, this is what I would do: Call a UTEC Vendor. Say, "I have an 03 WRX, what version or whatever is going to work for me?" When they tell you what version or whatever, slam down the phone and visit the for sale forums.

Rev 5 and higher should work with a 2003.

If your UTEC has a 3 screw cover on the top by the main connector, you have to unscrew this cover and look at the circuit board. The revision is printed on the board next to the switches.

If your UTEC has the solid cover with the holes to access the 2 switches flip the UTEC over. The revision number is printed on the back of the board.
