Default got a fuel Q

ok check this out ...

im currently running TXS stage 2.5(utec, gutted uppipe, 4" dp, TXS hiflo cat, HKS ticf catback and 3" cai)

very soon i plan on ordering a VF22 and TXS top mount.
the plan is to be running somesort of custom stage4.
the tech on free hi-flow injectors was an answer to my money saving prayers... i think... cause im a little confused on the whole tuning to the utec. that'll come in time though im sure.

my real question is about fuel pumps. i have a zex kit chill under the bed and its got all the accessories... including the booster fuel pump, which is an in-line unit. its flow rated at 265lph@ 40psi. i would love greatly to be able to use this pump in conjunction with the stocker and the injector or fpr mod(and of course the turbo and i/c) to complete the fuel upgrades to run a custom stage4. so what im asking for is some explanations, reasoning, solutions... advice on being successful with this set-up.

thanks

So you are asking how to install the setup or how to run it, or how to tune for it? Just asking so we can figure out what you are looking for then we can all work back from there.

sorry... first i wanted to know if the set up is even possible with the stock fuel pump and then from there i was curious if i would be better off doing the injector mod or the fpr mod or a combo. im guessing just the injector mod, but either way how would you tune it on the utec... would i use a similar map that someone is running a stage4 w/ VF22, injector mod, and walbro pump, and just fine tune it to my setup.... but is there even a map for stage4 and the injector mod(sorry i havent read all 50 pages of the free injector thread) thanks for your info and patience ahead of time

No i don't think anyone has shared a map for the injector mods yet... I don't know how soon you'll see one either since its going to be a lot of work to tune for it and require time and money.

I do not know if there is a map for the UTEC or not. Though I am sure other poeple will know how to resolve that issue. nmyeti, could probably answer that question.

As for reading the entire post you do not need to, take a look at this post as we are discussing how to fix a possible problem with the injectors and get them to work.
