Default need Mechanic, Austin, TX

I have a '96 Outback (sorry, I know this is the Impreza forum) and I've had a problem with the check engine light, a gas smell, and the car dying when it reaches a certain temperature. This is a problem I've had mechanics work on for the last three years. My car will now not start if it's warm. I'm looking for a mechanic in Austin who KNOWS how to work on Subarus that can actually fix this problem for me. Every mechanics I've gone to over the last three years have problems diagnosing this and then has problems doing simple maintenance because they don't know how to work on a Subaru. I've had timing belts bent in the process.

Does anyone know a Subaru Guru around here? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I love love love my car but I hate hate hate the problems with mechanics working on it.

Thanks.
