Default Please help w/synthetic motor oil

Hey yall ive got a 2003 wrx, with turboback, intake w/silencer box removed, forge dump valve, and utec stg 2. I just recently put Castrol Syntec in it when I have run Mobil 1 10W30 for the past 9000 miles, changing it every 2k-2.5k. The car feels different, at startup, and when driving it around. What gives?

Define "different".
Also what grade of Syntec did you use?
