Default recall

I have a 2002 WRX with 18k miles on it. I heard a few days ago that SOA had issued a recall having to do with the brakes. My dealership never sent me one. Did this recall actually take place?

The only recall involving a US WRX was for the 2002 automatic transmission, involving a bad pin/pawl that might allow the transmission to shift out of PARK on its own.

NHTSA's Office of Defects Investigation is currently investigating a possible defect in 2002-3 WRX ABS systems, but that is still in progress and has not yet resulted in any recall.
