Default FS: 84 Toyota Celica GT-S

Yes I know this should be in the cars FS forum, but I would first like to see if I can sell it local.

The car:
grey interior (awesome seats I wish they came in the STi)
120,XXX miles
5-speed
power windows/ locks
AC
sun roof
new tires (maybe 3k miles on them)
new steering rack
full tune up done when I first got the 6 months ago
it's got a blouepunk(sp) casette radio (I know, i know, it came with the car)
Grant GT streering 12.5 inch (the stocker was just to big)

The pictures are from when I first got it. The car was hit in the front bumper on the passanger side. The bumper was pushed back on that side, but I pulled it out so the popup head lights still work. I'm really like this car, but I have to dam many. Looking to get $1000 for it. If your looking to go drifting this would be a great car to start out, it just needs some stiffer suspension.

Thanks
Adam

Man......if this car were available brand new right now, I probably wouldn't have my 01 RS.

The old school Celica GT-S and the MkII Supra are awesome.

prefer the ST185 celica, but the 4th gen is nice too. i dunno, i think u'd keep the RS over those two toyotas. the all-tracs are a different story. maybe teh WRC Corrola

Boxologist,

Which is the ST185, the 86-89 or the 90-93? Which version do you like? If you are talking 86-89, a GT-S Coupe would be sweet. A naturally aspirated 3SGE in what was acknowledged as the first really good handling FWD car. The GT-4 or All-Trac version of that car was significantly overweight and wasn't too much fun to drive according to what I've read. It is super rare though.......

the st185 was the 90-93 (5th gen) alltrac. it was not overweight. the first few years of the st225(6th gen) were very overweight, the later years were improved, especially in the brakes.

i do prefer the GTS hatch of the 5th gen. very nice cab backward lines. the mirrors work nicely with the body, the back line in the car from headlight to headlight had beena Celica touch dating bak to the 3rd or 4th gen. the 5th gen is very cute. excellent rear lines from the glass hatch down. very short sill on the back. Toyota's design department in the late 80s to early nineties was exceptional. the bodies didn't go down hill untill the 6th gen Celica and i guess 97 camry.

the only way i would have ever owned a 6th gen was a drop top.

But anyway, please Adam's car. If ur cute, Adam may even rent u his body. If ur rich, u may have the option to buy!

wow sorry to see its gonna go. HUGE bump for ya i got an 84 celica gts orig owner and i can attest to its extreme reliability(prolly more reliable then my wrx) and plenty of torque from the 22re 105hp 140tq so yeah it will tow and go go go. Whoever gets it certainly will get a deal. www.toysport.com has tons of aftermarket parts for it as well. Sorry for rambling, anyone needing neutral answer or questions about it PM me.
