Default So Who All Made It To Cecil Dragway Friday??

Just curious who made it and what you ran... There were ALOT of Subies there. Alot of EVO's too...

My best run: 12.3 @ 114.8 w/1.97 sixty foot.

Traction sucked

I did hear that an EVO went 12.2, but I never saw it or heard what it trapped.

i had a bad 2 runs on friday
stock last season first run 13.1 with 1.7 60ft.
this year with STi pink springs and f/r stb and "ALL SEASON" tires
this season still stock power but suspension mods for handling.
1st run 13.4 with 1.7 60ft
2nd run 13.4 with 1.8 60 ft.
i sat in line before the first run for 2.5hours and the 2nd run was a 1.5 hours . i was bored and tired and COLD.
im not a big drag racer. its fun, but id rather do track days and autox. but ill be there next week to watch everyone. i still had fun.

Whoaw ! 2.5h in line ??

Here in montreal, at the busiest, you'll wait 10-15 mins.

One of my friend even did more than 20+ runs in one night..

You guys should come race over here

I was there friday night and all I can say is DAMN it was crowd .
1st run- 13.2@ 106 2.0 60' (no traction)
2nd run- 13.3@ 107 2.2 60' (bogged)

Everything was breaking that night and the first car to break (jetta) was the one I was running against!!! I'm glad it wasn't me . I'm going to go this friday if it dosen't rain. I'm hopeing TurboXS gets it's dyno fixed soon so I can get my stage 4 tuned so I can see what kind of numbers I can put down.

Way too crowded. Too many cars breaking and continuing down the track. Instead on a small clean ups, 2 hrs of waiting. WRX's well represented. My buddy ran his STi(white), ran 13.5's. Sucky launches and rims too big. Rick

The two most memorable WRX's there were both some kids, one with underbody neon that was on the whole night and the other was a kid that was acting cocky than I saw him run a 15.0 .

I was there also. But...i drove there with 5 kids in my dads highlander. So no racing that time.

Was the "cocky" kid in a blue STi? I tried to talk to him, while wearing a blue SPT jacket, and he acted like he was a hardass b/c he had an STi.

I saw a WRX sitting in line, idling.... puffing so much blue smoke it made me ill. Poor little Subie... its days are numbered!!
