Bussman61: sell yours and buy mine!

incorporeal: auto? I'm sure you have your reasons, but the 5spd is faster, and more fun IMO...

another bump

I am open to offers as well, though it's only been for sale ~1week, so no LOW ballers please.

Nice car for the price. Would be hard to find better, IMO anyway.

chad

*bump/ and a story*

I too have seen this car in person, even though Chad and I have never met, despite half hearted attempts over the last 2 years to hook up. Anyways, I was shopping for a Legacy for my new boss who blew the radiator on his '90 5 spd wagon. He gave me the wagon (can you say BF 5spd turbo swap, I know you are jealous now aren't you, Chad and Paul ) He also gave me one day to find him a replacement for under $15K. I was looking at an Outback for him across the street from Pollard Jeep at some small used lot. If I am not mistaken, right across the street was your car. I pulled up an looked at it for a bit. Very very nice ride. If he had been looking for a sedan I would definitely have called you.

Anyways, we still need to get together and have you cruise by our farm house. And Paul, if you still want to help with that EJ22T dismantling, I really could use an impact wrench about now. There is no way I am going to get those friggin heads off that thing without one I am going to be working on both the RS and the Legacy, and maybe the EJ22T for most of the day on Saturday and you are both welcome to drop by. If not, maybe I'll see you on the 21st at the auto-x? regardless, get in touch.

*end of story/bump*

<hijack>

Man, that's bad timing. Kath (GF) and I are going up to Steamboat by way of Winter Park this weekend. We're leaving tonight & we won't be back 'till sunday night.

You're right regarding the heads. I helped (sorta) with dismantling an EJ22t last fall & we had to use a 3/8 drive impact on the bolts in question. I have a 3/8 air ratchet & a 1/2 drive impact, but not a 3/8 drive impact. Ahh, it looks like I have an excuse to buy another tool.

Maybe we could even use the die grinder. There's a story behind that one involving your old downpipe.

</hijack>

Somebody buy this man's car.

I used a 2 foot breaker bar to get my head bolts off. Worked really well. It was a cheapy breaker bar too. I got it at checker or autozone for like $8 and it has a lifetime warranty. If it breaks you can go get a new one.

I have one of those, too. They work well with a 3' cheater pipe.

If Matt is right and that is your car, if you so desire, I could swing by and snap some shots of it if it's still in the same spot...
I liked it. I wanted it. But, I have a WRX.

thanks for the words fella's!

I have pics now on my autotrader ad, see original post.

About Sat. I am also going up to Winterpark for the day, and am pulling a EJ22 (not T) out of a '90 leg on Sunday that will reside in my freinds Vanagon syncro!! talk about cool. But I do wanna swing by Matt - it's right on my way home!! I keep looking for an RS parked off Isabelle, but to no avail.

Car will be up as-is until the end of April, the it gets put back to stock (or near it) and sold for <$$

later

You'd never see our cars from the road. You might hear one of us, but the house is way back on the farm, and we garage the cars anyways. Except the project Legacy, that is. 2 1/2 car garage. drop me a note when you get back. And BTW, Mikkito is my gurl, but she's still just one of the guys.
