ps. I am awesome.

Default I just found out bad news about my grandma

My dad just called and said she passed away this morning. She was in her 80s and for the past few years has been fighting with depression and memory loss and has just been getting weaker and weaker. The last time I saw her was in the beginning of the summer and even then you could see she wasn't how she used to be when I was a kid.

This picture was taken when I visited her in June. Even though I would only see her once or twice a year I still miss her very much and think about her. She was such a strong woman and my whole family is praying that she is in a better place now.

I love you grandma.
-Becky

I am sorry to hear about your grandmother. My grandmother passed away the end of November, 3 days after Thanksgiving. she was 97 years old, but it was still very sad. I am sure they are both in a better place now.

Thanks guys. You are all so wonderful. I'm beat now so I'm gonna go to bed. I know people say this all the time and it's lost almost all meaning - but man - if you love someone tell them. Be happy when you wake up every day. And be grateful for having friends and family that care about you.

Thank you again everyone.

oh Becky, I'm SO sorry. Having met you a few times I know for certain that you must have lit-up your grandmother's life like the Griswold house at Christmas. Keep her memory with you and be sure to tell stories about her to your family. It's the greatest honor you could give her.

Sorry for your loss, I was in the same situation a year ago. My grandfather (83) had liver cancer/emphesyma and was suffering a lot. Made the 24 hour trip (plane/car) to spend time with him for a week. A month later we got the call...

Always take the time to say hi/i love you to people you love.

I never leave the house without hugging and kissing everyone.
