Default Replacing XT-6 air suspension

Anyone know if the air suspension can be swapped for normal struts and springs? What model Subaru would have similar mounting points? I know someone who is trying to get an XT-6 back on the road. This is one of the last things he needs to do.

Pete

Huge XT/XT6 resource you found there. If you search long and wide, you should be able to come up with all the parts necessary for the conversion for the price of replacing one air strut with a new one...

I have replaced that suspension in my drive way it is pretty ez. I have some parts you might be interested in. I have a complete set of shocks and struts off of a 91 legacy that would fit in there... let me know if interested.

rears from any loyale style subaru will work...go with 2WD rather than 4WD rears to avoid the monster truck look in the back.

Unless you like the monster truck look... if so then get some from an 86 GL and crank em up (they were adjustable)
