Question B&M shifter?

Does anybody have the B&M shifter in their Impreza RS. Whats it like? What was the cost?

Thanks,
RallyeX

I still remember Deadbolt telling the story of how the Subaru performance guy said that the Kartboy shifter made the SPT stuff look like crap.

Why not go with the best? Or at least the best as of now.

[EDIT] To answer your question...I don't think anyone has it. But I could be wrong.

RallyeX,

You are correct, sorry I have no input on the B & M. Trying to decide on one myself!

Personally I've never had any experience with B&M shifters in anything other than pickups/Z28's. Honestly, their stuff is too generic for my taste. If they make one for the subaru it probably would be like the last Z-Gate that I got for a truck I built. It had the shifter built onto a bracket that you had to bolt into the floor rather than use anything that was from factory. That's why I liked the Kartboy shifter so much, it uses the stock shifter mount, just pops right in, and honestly, it feels much tighter than any B&M that I have ever had.
