Center Grill Vent

I need some help,

I own a Forester 01 and I'm looking at removing the central grill vent (One of them is broken and I can't direct the flow of air anymore)

For the life of me, I can't seem to figure out how to remove it. I've take the two screws at the top, under the cap (in that center storage area) and two screws where the cup holders come out. But there still seems to be something missing as I can't remove the Panel Center.

Help!

One other quick question, is the hazard button supposed to light up at night?

Since no one with a SD forester has replied...

I have a my2002 impreza & my2003 forester, so all I have are suggestions based on what I know on these two.

(1) It is possible that you've removed all the necessary screws, and all it takes is a brave tug off about 4 clips.

(2) You can possibly look from below that panel by removing the trim around the stereo. To see if you need to remove anything else. To do that you'd need to remove the trim around the handbrakes & shifter gate. Here's a reference for that:

Thank you for the pdf, it was helpful, unfortunately, I still can't figure out why it wont come out, there seems to be something attaching it the dash board from the sides. Perhaps if I can find instructions on how to install the optional "Gauge Pack" it might help as I'm sure, it requires that part to be removed.
Anyone might have that handy?
