Post selling extended warranty

I bought an extended warranty on my GT 2 years ago. My car is just out of the regular warranty (50k miles) and I am selling it when I get my WRX. Will I be able to get some extra $$$ for the Warranty if I trade it in?

I know you can transfer it to someone (it cost $35 to do this), you MIGHT be able to transfer it to your new car (that would rock ) . If not, you can also take a refund on the portion of the warranty that was not used. I would give SOA a call and ask them a few questions.
Good luck

You can get a pro-rated refund. The dealership you bought it from can figure it for you. You cannot transfer it to another car, only to another owner.

So I have to take it to the dealer I bought it from? Cause I am getting my WRX from a different dealer. Thanks!

Can you do the refund even if you are not selling the car? I have no intentions of selling my car, but my modifications will soon void any warranty. I would hate to have this extended warrenty purchased, but immediately voided. My car is almost 1yr old now.
