Default Just Moved - Boost Question?... Need Facts ONLY

So I just moved to the midwest and am aware of the altitude - I moved from FL. where my car put 300 to the wheels. Mods:
VF30
Turbo Back, Up pipe, pulleys BOV 50/50
Injectors, Rails, Pump
Top Mount MRT...
ECUTEK - Blah Blah

Thats all thats relevent....

My car surges bad in WOP 4th and 5th a little in 3rd.... Its running 11.1 AF.... IDC at 70% or so (This is Tampa numbers)... Dyno graphed....

So I am aware that with the altitude in Denver, the motor is seeing more boost - Thus the timing is being yanked at peak boost levels... By the way it is peaking here @1.25 bar (High I know)... Tuned to only 1.15 in FL....

Is all this right (My thoughts) - I need somebody to confirm, also if anybody in denver has Delta Dash - Lets talk - I have the laptop, even one up for a trade on a license share.

Thanks
Jeff

Check out what I have been working on here

It is not entirely accurate yet and I am still working on it but it will give you an idea of some of the trends you are looking at.

Jeff -

Atmospheric pressure here is around 80-85% of sea level. Given that your IDCs were ~70% at sea level, fuel is definately not going to be your problem.

I don't have the compressor map for the VF 30, but 1.25 bar at this altitude may be pushing a pressure ratio that is outside that turbo's peak efficiency. That turbo is working a good deal harder to push 1.25 bar up here that is is pushing 1.15 bar at sea level.

Check out :

If you dig around the forum, I think you'll find the compressor map for the VF30.

Good luck with the problem. You may have to get a re-map for your mods & higher altitude.
