Seriously considering going in on it. Currently using a 5.6" LCD but a 7" would be nice.

btw, the price is very good, about $100 off the regular.

i only compared it to a 6.5 in non-VGA screen. It's a night and day difference displaying windowsxp on the lilliput. The text was extremely clear. GPS Nav software was near unreadable 6.5" screen.

The only difference would be adding a touchscreen overlay to them so the clarity should stay the same.

it requires some modification to fit, but I have seen it done a few times with great results. check MP3car.com for examples of installs.

So there isn't a catch for such a good deal? The screen really is as good as people say it is?

this screen has a better picture than most on the market right now because of the xga, a few have had issues but mostly once taken apart. These are refurbished monitors, Lilliput refurbishes them by rehousing and rebadging them. Best lcd for the buck and warranty is included.
