Default Sunday Auto-x

Allright boys and girls, who is venturing out this Sunday for the VCMC auto-x? I will be making my first venture for quite some time. Hopefully won't be too rusty. I'm a little worried now that my car is running DSP. Tough competition and my car is FAT. (Heavy).

Hope to see lots of Subies out there...I will be attempting a fastest subie of the day record for this weekend so if you want to beat a tall dorky white guy come on out.

Don't worry about D/SP Jamie, it shouldn't be a problem for you. Just worry about Andy, he becomes very fast now!

Hey Tora, I'm not running but might be out to watch for a bit.
A friend of mine from work wants to check it out, can you take him out on one of your runs if there's nobody else there I can mooch a ride for him from?

Am I your last choice? If there is no one else....can he ride in the family wagon? Yeah sure. Just make sure it's not my last run or whatever. I hate taking people on the last run. And make sure he doesn't stink like your moms.

Thanks Tora. You weren't the last choice, just figured your car would be the last one I would want to bog down with extra weight

I'm really curious about Auto-X'ing. Is it like an event where you can show up and participate? Even Noobs like me can participate? Are there people teach you how to take turns and tell you what to do??

Yesterday was the velocity course which is really a learning day. But noobers like you can go to this even as well. There is no one to really teach you but everyone is pretty helpful and they will send experienced drivers along with you to help you out and give you tips. It is a very friendly environment as long as you act respectfully and do not jerk around in your car.

If you are going for your first day make sure to get there early so you can walk the course enough times so you don't get lost.

I am going rain or shine....unless I sleep in.

You guys are lame. The only Subaru's that showed up to race were me, Aawen, and Deft, Everbruin was there in his MP5, and there was another dude in a red RS but didn't talk to him. Happy Days showed up and got some footage (in car) of the white whale, Yenners showed up as well. I feel as though I'm forgetting someone.

Anyways, despite the rain it was a decent day. Very nice course and of course the beauty of allwheel drive was evident. Aawen did a great job with his new crazy camber settings and Deft was looking good out there. Everbruin looks like he is havin gvery good runs in his MP5.

too much camber today, and kind of difficult to drive on wet.
I believe deft had fun when he took the rides with me
Driven by what's inside
