Angry Good body shop? Scum tried to jemmy "window"

Hi,

Some scum bag tried to jemmy the "window frame" last night on my car. Idiot did not get very far as he was jemmying the wrong part, not knowing scooby does not have window frame.

But there is quite a mess on the A pillar.

So i'm looking for a good body shop in Langley or Burnaby that can fix it. I have a ICBC claim number. Also I'd like to tidy up some other minor scratches.

Thanks,

Gethin.

"jemmy" from the block?

In Langley, Apple on 64th is good. They've done work on my other cars.

Unfortunately, I took my WRX windshield claim to Don Beck on 64th and 200th. DO NOT go there! Please, learn from my mistake. The windshield took over 2 weeks to get in (they ordered the wrong one twice), and when it was finally done, the interior was a mess. I guess the installer forgot to wipe his feet, then forgot to do the free interior clean too. I tore a strip off the manager then left, as he was no help.

Y'know what.. Don't go to broco.. If the work they do on windshields is any indicator, don't trust them unless you hear otherwise from people who have used them. I think there's alot of used/re-polished windshields out there and people are trying to sneak them in at full price. My windshield replacement was the same way, except they made me come back 3 times for almost a month. When they finally got the windshield right, I had some sort of tape/silicone in my fan housing for the interior air supply. I waited, and instead of taking it direct to my dealer I took it to the guy, and he listened to it. He agreed it sounded like some of the material he was removing right near the air vent and he said the it was too complex of a car for him to try and work on. So I had to take it back to the dealer to get them to work on it.

Oh and the a-pillar plastic that they remove to work on the windshield was replaced wrong on the driver's side. I didn't complain though cause I had been considering using that space for a pod setup.

420 is right.
Broco in Langley installed a used window in one of my other cars, then sent me on my way "thinking" I had a new part.

I got scammed.

Apple Autobody sublets jobs once in a while to us, the ones are are doomed and writeoffs so we can rebuilt them from scratch.

resurrecting already dead cars is by means no fun I rather save live ones

Niteraven, I know what you mean.
I used to get at least one filthy, oily civic every week for a motor swap. I found it saved me more time spending an hour shampooing and scrubbing the grime away, rather than working through it.

It's a thankless job, but we do it for the love of cars (or money, fame, whatever ).
