Question Question: Are all EJ series oil-pans cross-compatible?

Im just curious, can any EJ engine use any EJ engines Oil pan?
I am asking cause I have a EJ20G oil pan I want to tap and use for my turbo kit for my EJ18, but its shaped a tad different yet it looks like the dipstick and bolt patterns are the same... I dont know about the internals and such though.

Anyone know for sure?

99% sure: yes they are compatible. I know of people using WRX pans on the RS. All the blocks have the same design, I would suppose.

I know there are some differences in the pick-up and what not, but not such that I would think it would prevent using it...
