Default Bully Clutches

Bully Clutches

I just had a Bully clutch install on my 2000 RS. It's a Stage 2 with a kevlar disc.

It's the perfect set-up for what I wanted. The pedal is way smoother than with the stock (147000 km) with similar pedal push effort. It's not to grabby at all. I love it.

When I purchase this clutch, I told Frank (the guy on the phone) that I plan to swap in a ej20 but use the RS trans and etc. This is what he recommended.

After 2000km I have no issues at all with this set-up.

I should also mention that I had the OE flywheel lighted 4 lbs. My mods include Brullen header and full exaust, Denso Irdium plug and modified air intake.

I would highly recommend this clutch to anyone.

I have a Stage-2 Bully clutch.

'03 WRX

6-speed JDM Transmission. Version 7. (4..44)

WRX intake manifold
JDM Version 7 Heads
2.5L Shortblock
VF-34
"Pinks" Injectors

Invidia Headers
Invida Downpipe
Borla "Hush" CBE

Street-tune to 20 PSI

I have about 1500 KMs on it. 1st to 4th gear doesn't slip. I'm confident it doesn't.

5th gear-6th gear slips for me.

I don't know if I have to do more break-in period, or if the clutch isn't capable of handling it.

Pedal feels almost like the OEM WRX pedal.

So far I'm starting to think I should've gone Stage-3.
