Cool speedlines, Eibach springs, KYB AGX's first impressions

recently I robbed a few banks and purchased a set of speedline super T's with Yokohama AVS-i, Eibach springs, and a set of KYB AGX's tuned right now to 1/3 thanks to the wisdom of the Iclub gurus.

I was first impressed by how smooth the car still drove. Very nearly like stock, but during cornering it was far flatter. Still just a hint of body roll, but not very noticable. Just enough to keep the car feeling very neutral and planted around curves. I was expecting a very harsh ride with the 215/40/17's on the rims. But to my suprise its only a hair more harsh. Not to bad at all! This may change when I go up to 3/5 or so, but for now I am as happy as hell.

The car has a pronounced improvement in turn in, with a feeling of control up to and past the apex of a corner. No chassis settling time. The car rights itself from the small body roll it still has, and does not give me any impressions of wanting to snap the back end around. I only have an 18mm bar and I am quite happy with that. Maybe because I have not ever driven a 20mm? The car is very well mannered over all sorts of bumps. Does not get harsh or unsettled on freeways, and does very well over the washboard like parts of the 605 south. I have not nearly driven the setup enough to really push it hard to see how it will ack in hard cornering yet. I have only gone maybe 5/10. So this weekend will be a good road trip.

For the money I highly recommend this setup.
The springs and shocks integrate very well. All those who want a very smooth ride with a substancial amount of control, this seems to be the ticket!

I have the GC/AGX setup and mine ire relatively harsh...nothing bone shattering...but you know how sometimes the freeways does a bump or a drop on some overpasses/bridges? my car just follows the road and ur body is left to take the punishment...but then again my AGXs are set at 3/6 right now...

I have the AGX/Eibach with AVSiS on the stock 16" - definitely good stuff.

the Eibachs lowerered it about 3/4 in in the back, 1/4in up front. - modest.

The installation was free - pays to be down with Tom D.! I still need an alignment, though. prob. 50-75 bucks.
