Cool Carbon fiber driveshaft/axles

Is ther anyone interested in a group buy of such a product??? I am in negotiations for them at this time. Will minimize vibrations inherent with steel, at least 1/2 the weight and 6 times the strength. If they do break, it is not a flopping piece of steel, but a twisted bunch of fibers. Just asking

Yeah, that's about right.

Randy: wonderful, wonderful idea. But will it be even remotely affordable for us plebians? I've seen lightened driveshafts (aluminum?) for Impreza in the range of $1500-$3000!

Hoping you know a bargain basement composite shop that still does great work!

Sure, I am in. Last time I was "negotiating" with some company, they wanted 400-500 per shaft and 5000 for tooling, hehe.

Cool

What sort of cost Randy? Is there a felt energy savings in the drivetrain?
