OT: How long will Bertuzzi be suspended for?

I am not a huge Cancuck fan but what Bertuzzi did was pretty nasty and totally un-called for. I wouldn't be surprised to see him gone at least until the play offs, or longer.

I think 15 games would be about right . I don't think bert is the kind of player that would do something as bad as that on purpose. I think that the fact that everyone piled on did not help either. Tom is going to be an intresting day .

Well thing i thought was pretty bad was he was holding onto Moores jersey to hold him back as he swung at him. Moore didn't even no it was coming. He went limp before he hit the ice. Kind of made me sick watching it.

He would be very lucky to get 5 games . yeah i think the canucks will get a huge fine as well . Worrell might go for a couple of games as well for messing around with the canucks bench .

Worrell will probably get 2-3 games.
With 16-17 games left in the season, I don't see why the league won't give him the minimum of the rest of the regular season and maybe the first round of the playoffs.

sucker punched Moore (?) and shoved him to the ice as he was falling face first...appeared to be knock out, either that, or the man has a second job as an actor!!!

give him the rest of the season off...IMHO.

went to the game tonite, it was extremely embarrassing, 5 goals in the 1st period, it was like watching junior hockey......Ave scored so easily seems they were in practice.......However it was some BS officating tho, fans kept chanting "BULLS***~~~BULLS***"......so funny.......

I saw the whole Bert sucker push thing, it didnt look as serious as it looks at the beginning until you actually saw STREAM of blood coming out, even with players, trainers blocking the view. The more scary was you saw all the doctors and trainers (included Canucks') one by one going to Moore from brench like in hosiptal ER treating serious accidient...

Moore was like pubic enemy #1 until that moment in GMplace....the crowd was very into fighting and desperatly want any fighting then it ended up ugly, (ppl didnt want to leave even it was 5-0, 8-2) everything was ugly.

bert will get 10 games, but someone had to do it. you don't knock out our best player, then skate around all night, like a little chicken bleep. everyone was challenging moore all night, and the only guy her fought was cooke, someone smaller then him. don't get me wrong, no one like to see anyone get hurt, but if he had stood up for himself, had a coulpe of fights, none of this would have happen

the only one I feel sorry for is linden. he finally passes smyl and the whole town is talking about bert/moore.

can't wait til an av/ nuck playoff round

I think they should suspend the entire league for the rest of the season, that way we won't have to watch or hear about hockey until the fall....

Were you sucker-punched by Bertuzzi as a baby to come up with a statement like that? Back to wood work for you. Assclown.

I think Bert should get a minimum 10 suspension and a fine. I don't think they should kibosh his season like they did Mcsorley, because the Mcsorley incident involved hardware. Granted a glove can be construed as a weapon, but you can do more physical damage with a stick than with gloved fists.

Yeah i was at the game last night, and I echo the sentiments of a lot of canucks fans, I'm pretty embarassed to be a canucks fan right now. I'm a huge fan of the canucks and of bertuzzi, but what happened last night is really going to be a test on him. As to whether or not he'll be able to take all the heat, and grow as a player, or he'll just bomb.

From my position i was behind bertuzzi, so I didn't actually see Moore fall limp to the ice. It actually didn't look that bad until I saw a side camera view. At first I was pretty happy that Moore got what was coming, but once I found out how bad it was, I was pretty upset. Let's just hope Moore will be allright, and that the canucks can come out of this.

It was saddening to see Trevor pass Smyl on a nigh like that, but I felt proud that he got two standing ovations from the crowd. Once when they announced his second assist, and another when they put him on the big screen.
