Exclamation Attention all Houston area Subaru owners!!!!

Geoff and I are calling a meeting to discuss the new website. We need to go over a few topics and get your feedback on how the site is set up.

Friday or Saturday, Sept. 1 or 2, 6 PM, at Dave and Buster's on Richmond.

I'm heading out of town this coming weekend, but should be back for Sunday's autocross. Sept. 9, Geoff is going to be going up to Cobb Tuning for some work. Steve and I will be heading up there too to check things out. I'll post another thread about it.

If anyone has to work, or has any better suggestions on a meeting place, let me know. E-mail or pm at home or work. I need to know something by the end of this week please. If we have a ton of people, I'd like to be able to reserve enough tables, no matter where we end up.

Thank you.

Geoff, I'm sure Steve will make it, but I'll try contacting as many people as I can. Hopefully we'll get a decent turn out.

I would really like to be there. Saturday would be good, Although I could get off work early. It is a little closer. I've never met anyone else with an RS . It's sad but true.

sadly, it'll be awhile before I get
my RS...but i'm dying to check out
some of the local rides. I do a
bunch of freelance web design, mainly
graphics, marketing, and the "psychology" of
web-site navigation. I work downtown so
I just may be able to come out and gawk
and maybe you can gawk at my soon-to-be ex-gf

I may not have my OBS Turbo either...it may still be in the shop getting some tranny stuff done on it, but one never knows. No reason not to come by to have a good time!

Hey, if you do websites, you can help quite a bit then. I do a little bit of graphics work and HTML, but it's been about two years since I actually made money doing it...been working at Compaq too long.

Anyone else gonna make it? C'mon!

O.K., I know that this isn't exactly on this topic, but. I just read the post about the factory clear tails being available at the dealer. Have any of you checked with West Houston Subaru to see if they will get them for us. I also read that they would give a deal if two orders are made together. I really want them and would be willing to do this with someone. E-mail me at:

Aubrey, the man to ask is Geoff. He might be able to direct you to the right people, or answer your questions.

iceinject, we'll be looking for you (and her)!

Skel: I spoke with Bruce Smith at West Houston about the part. He's going to look into it...if they have them, they'll do the install.

On another note, I'm working with West Houston to get them more into the Performance aspect of Subarus...and they want in. We'll discuss this in detail this weekend.

Don't worry, we've got you covered. I sure hope I'm not the oldest one there!

Cool...I'm there...and I'm 27...
Actually it's also a resturant...so I'm sure it won't be any trouble getting everyone in.
...and don't forget the cool driving games they have. Whoo Hoo!

Remember the meeting isn't until NEXT Saturday! I'd hate for people to show up on the wrong day.

The H.P.A. is located at the intersection of Aldine-Westfield and Rankin Rd. Take I-45 North to Rankin. Left on Rankin, over the RR tracks, past the Hardy Toll Road (you'll pass under), the next light is Aldine-Westfield. The H.P.A. is going to be on your left. You can't miss it. It's a pretty good sized complex.

I'm still trying to get the wheel thing situated, plus I'm going out of town today, so I'm not sure if I'll make it. I'd like to try these new tires out!

Go to http://www.houscca.com/solo2/solo.html for the schedule and more details. Enjoy!

That's right, it's next weekend...sorry about making a reference to THIS weekend. I should have my car back by then, hopefully.
