Unhappy So much for waiting

Let me start off a year ago. July 99 I'm in the market for a car with an automatic due to knee problems. Nothing is really appealing to me. Cars I really liked, like the typeR or the R/T were only available as a manual. I test drove the integra and prelude but neither clicked with me. Then I saw a black Impreza RS on the street. A day later I had test driven a 98 auto coupe, I was sold. However my Internet research told me that the turbo was coming in a couple years and a really good deal on a used 98 Chevy Malibu LS fell in my lap. So I picked up the malibu and decieded to wait. So for the last year I've been lurking on this board picking up rumors and opinions. Well so its been a year. In the mean time I've gotten into sportbikes, which is another drain on my income. So now I'm at a crossroads. Do I buy another bike or do I buy the wrx? Well, the pics came out and all I've got to say is "WHAT THE **** IS SUBARU THINKING?" I've given it time, looked at all the photos and nothing is clicking. 2001 Triumph is releasing the next gen Daytona sportbike. Guess I'm keeping the Malibu.

Yup. The new Impreza is ugly. Even the ones that DO like it - took them some time and mental effort to convince themselves they like it.

I'd wait for the '03 make over of this ugly car. Hopefully they'll bring back some beauty to this car.

I only wish they followed Porsche's evolutionary styling. A little bit here, a little bit there. Not like this uglyness that Subary has done to our beloved Impreza!

"2001 Triumph is releasing the next gen Daytona sportbike" Why buy a trumpet? get a Yamaha R6 its the most sought after bike in its class. Proud owner of a 2000 blue R6.
