Question Installing Cruise Control???

I'm sure it can be done but how hard is it and what's needed to do the install???

My STi Ver. 3 GF8 didn't come w/cruise from the factory and I miss my GC6's cruise on long trips.

I have all the cruise control crap that I'm willing to sell. If you want it just let me know what you need and I'll strip it off of my car. I know you'll need the throttle cable, the electronic module, and the actuator or whatever the large round thing under the hood is called that actually pulls the throttle cable. Then you'll need the switch, but I don't know what else.

I am doing a project on my own and got a question you might be able to help me out with since you have taken the cruise control out. Which wire on the button next to drivers seat is the actualy positive wire that gives the button power. I am trying to figure it out so that I can connect something to it but wanna ask before I do

1. Good luck finding room for the RS cruise control servo... if you want to give it a try, you can snag mine for a few days to see if you have room for it.

2. Vacuum operated cruise control servos aren't very fond of positve manifold pressure

3. You should do what I did and install a WRX stepper motor setup. You can check ine out sometime if you like, it's about half the size, and does not need engine vacuum
