This is exactly why I hate civics. They have to make thier car look like something its not.

If you want an Impreza buy an Impreza. I swear if I see one of those around Tampa I think I'd almost be willing to kamakaze my car into it just to get it off the road.

God I hate civics

I'm not suprised to see it. I saw a VW with them last year. Kind of makes you wonder why they would do it though. I mean an Evo hood I can see having. It will at least get hot air out of the engine bay but a scoop? Its not like they can ever put a top mounted IC on the car. Unless Jackson Racing is going to make an aftercooler for his superchargers.

it's not an RS hood, though it is styled like one. there are hundreds of aftermarket hoods available for the honda/acura crowd. it only makes sense that one of them would crank out a copy cat hood like this. at the end of the day why waste time getting upset about it?

I bet they think a block off plate is some kind of performance inhancing air flow redirector. They'll come up with some high tech name for eventually. I can see it now... "Yeah it's a High Flow Pooper Scooper Intake With A Ultra-Flow Air Diverter. It's puts cool air right on my Valve cover. Nice eh! Yeah I painted the cover too. The Rice White really accents the scoop don't you think?"

I don't like it, but didn't any one see this coming???

Body kits have been around for years, and everyone has them, they only modify the lower half of your car... (look at the top half and it's stock)

Recently the manufacturers have been making hood scoops, vents, bigger spoilers and hood and even roof scoops available because they are different, It allows the driveer to modify the last half of their car, thus completing the looks of the car...

Sure it makes most cars look damn ugly, but then again, the RS ain't the prettiest thing on the street either...

Love mine though

Well, I wasn't going to bring this up, but what the hell...

The Toyota/Lexus Altezza/IS300 rear lights are ALREADY being stolen by Civic owners. They look good.......on the Lexus! I saw both today (Civic with those lights and IS300).

Well, in all fairness, Civic owners had the Altezza's lights before the Altezza. APC and a number of companies were making those lights before the Altezza even existed. The Altezza took a cue from the RX300 and out of pure coincidence it happened to look exactly like the aftermarket lights you see on Accords and Civics. Even Edmunds says that the rear lights look like something you'd see on your teenage neighbor's Accord.

Civics with Supra wings and RS hood scoops.

You Civic lovers should go out there and smack some sense into your boys. Let'em do what they want to do? Yeah....sure, let'em perpetuate the stereotype of Civic owners. It's a free country.

Would you be offended if one day my hood scoop or rear wing is missing and I assume it was a Civic owner that stole it? Probably not coz even you Honda guys would think the same thing.
