Talking Just Put My Wrx Seats In

I got my 2002 wrx seats today and installed them with little trouble
Although they don't match I still love them so much more comfortable, than the legacy seats.

Heres a pic

Looks sweet way to go, was it all DIY? Let us know how you like them.

I put STi seats in...same deal, very easy to put in, only thing that took a bit was the fact that I had to put the bottom and back together.

Only real complaint I have is the height, no one's been able to answer my requests to lower it. I'm not that tall, but my head is almost hitting the ceiling when I have the seat the way I want it.

you'd probably have to take pictures of the bottom for any of us to know exactly what you're working with.

I don't know what the setup looks like as I have never seen it, but you may have to exchange rails from the old to the wrx seats to lower the height...theres probably some misc garbage on the bottom beneficial to a wrx, but not a legacy.

Cool

Nice Seats! I'm
looking at your red painted window switch plates. Mine are the ugly faux wood color

Did you paint them in place or remove them first? And how did you get them out if you did remove them. Did you have to take the whole door apart?

WOW

Um I took them out first, they were gray in the first place, not the wood ones. They pop right out you don't have to take the door apart.

theres a pic of the interior on the 'bling bling' Legacys ... show yourselves thread last page do a search to see the dash.
It looks bright but its really not its just the sun.

Do these MY02 seats bolt straight up to the floor of the legacy?
or did you have to use legacy rails?

Do any late model wrx seats fit the legacys?

Damo.

I'll take some pictures at a later date of the rails...I think they're rivited on which would make it no fun to put the legacy rails on, but being lower in the car would just be great.

And they do bolt right up, all seats fit in all the cars I believe.

the '02 wrx seats bolt directly into the BD series ... I have a set in my 97 and 98 ... and love them ... and the set in my 98 are heated!!!

however as stubeck noted ... they are higher than the stock seats ... so if you happen to be 6' tall ... these may not work for you ...

hmm ... I'm certian they would fit a '99 but dont know about later models ...
