Post New Store opening soon I hope (Dealers please read)

Me and a friend of mine are trying to start an online store for aftermarket performance parts Called "SpeedTechniques". We are planning to try and have the best competative prices as possible. We will offer products for a wide variety of imports including Subaru. Because we are doing this out of our homes our stock on hand will be limited to possibly small components with larger products more than likely being drop shipped or shipped to me first and then sent out. We are still trying to work out the details. We are currently getting working on getting the rights to distribute products from only the best possible companyies. We have posted the basic shell of the site on freeserver if anyone is interested in checking it out (mind you it is a rough site that we are constantly working on so what it looks like today it may not look like tommorrow) WWW.white91turbomr2.tripod.com
Because the Subaru Aftermarket is still growing it is hard to keep track of all of the companies out there selling stuff for our beloved cars. If any one has any recommendations as to what companies I should seek to get a distributor license for I would be appreciative. Also I am open to any advice that would help us serve you guys better when we get it up and running. Thanks everyone.

It is a good looking site, but you mispelled Impreza. I look forward to seeing what products you are going to have to make me faster.

I will be looking forward to see what you have to offer.

Templar,

Let me lend a critical eye...

If the idea is to be a low overhead seller where you stock little or no inventory, you will have many customers dissatisfied with the time it takes to receive the product.

Additionally, if you're working on margin alone you WILL be undercut by larger, better funded competitors who can take advantage of economy of scale. Nevermind forums like www.groupbuycenter.com and Ebay where nothing but price matters.

I don't see a profitable niche for anyone that doesn't offer some kind of value-added service or a product that no one else can offer (say, in-house developed).

Sorry to be the devil's advocate.
