Angry How many spoilers stolen?

I know mine wasn't the first by a long shot. I called the shop and told them I needed a new spoiler for my RS and he said, "oh, you just called last week." Nope.

I was so pissed when I first discovered it gone. Now I am trying to imagine getting a trunk without a spoiler just so it won't happen again. But, as much as I hate to say it, the car just feels incomplete without it.

My poor RS has been vandalized three times now... What can you do with an RS spoiler anyway? I guess you could make a cool coat rack or something, but geez.

That's bullcrap. On my base H & A owners pay. Unless they are owners that have no clue about what most younger owners use them for.

Come to think of it, the RS wing is strikingly similar to the Si wing...
Wonder if DX and EX owners...well I shouldn't point fingers...

Hmmm, you get it in the States too then, we have had a spate of Wings being stolen in the UK to be put on lesser cars by the boy racer brigade, you probably call them riceboys (i wont name the cars, you probably never heard of them ), we have also had a spate of bonnet/hood scoops being ripped off, trouble is they dont realise when they have ripped it off the scoop is useless as its damaged beyond repair, plus the bonnet/hood gets damaged beyond repair too.

We can legally buy, carry and protect ourselves with firearms here in the US, but unfortunately, we cannot shoot to defend our property unless our personal safety or life is in immeadiate danger. So if I saw someone stealing the wing off of my car and ran out with the gun, I would be breaking the law because I would be the "agressor".

Hey, Maryland isn't much better - ya know that there's a TOY gun buyback being set up in Annapolis (state capitol).. Maryland has some of the strictest gun laws in the country, and our beloved governer just signed another into law.. And people wonder why I'm pondering the move north to Pennsylvania?

I see someone's been reading the Constitution. Unfortunately, this isn't true. The state of Minnesota does not allow concealed weapons without a permit. A permit can only be attained by filing with your local sheriff's office who then grant them on a case-by-case basis. They must have substantial evidence that your life is currently in danger by a known person. It is VERY rare that they will grant a permit, even if you pass all the requirements. The law allows the sheriff to reject cases for any reason they see fit. This could include you wearing glasses or your nose being too big. Don't believe me? Find the governor's story about when he was Brooklyn Park mayor and he filed for a concealed-carry permit and was denied. The MAYOR was denied a permit, no criminal record, no history of violence (other than pro wrestling of course). He even had videotape evidence that he was currently being stalked and was in danger. Didn't matter. The sheriff didn't like him so he didn't get one.

That sux Bryan, in Florida you have to take a gun safety course, have no felonies on your record, have an FBI background check done just to apply for a concealed permit. This all costs about $150 and if approved the permit is good for 5 years. Mine is up for renewal next year!

Brianw,
Minnesota has always struck me as an odd state. I think it was the only state Reagan didn't win in 1980.

I understand the wackiness in California (fantasyland) and New York (welfareland) but Minnesota? Didn't you guys have a socialist Governor some years back and wasn't Minnesota a hotbed of commie activity in the 20's.

It doesn't surprise me that gun control laws are so harsh there. It sounds like government paternalism is alive and well.
