Thumbs up !READ! WRX clear corners and tails!! !READ!

You can now go right down to your local dealer and purchase the clear corners and red over clear tail lights that are found on the WRX!! SOA just recently started to stock them for sales in the US. Here are the part numbers...

Tail Lens( 1 each )84201FA180 & 190
Corner Lens( 1 each )84451FA020 & 030

You can also get an 18mm sway bar, although I am not sure if it is for the Impreza or the Legacy. Here is the part number for that...

R Swa Bar 18mm P/N 20450AC090
Bushings ( Qty 2 ) 21047GA811

NOTE: You must have the part numbers! I went to a dealer without them and they had no idea what I was talking about. If it's not in their Subaru parts book you have to do the research for them.

Now, get back to work people, you will have plenty of time to run to the dealer on your lunch hour!

My dealer told me they're going to start carrying Eibachs and KYB AGX's. I'm sure they'll be expensive but they'll be warrantied by Subaru.

I just looked it up at www.subaruparts.com.

$110 apiece if it's true. I want some verification though. Not just "my dealer said this". (no offense to you guys...at least your dealer cares about performance! not here...)

Am I sure!?!?! Why would I lie? YES I'm SURE!!!

I emailed 3 different dealers about mail order and doing a group buy and here is the response from one of them. Sorry for the all caps ahead of time, he wrote it that way...

"R/SWAY BAR 163.25 BUSHINGS 8.30 EACH.TAIL LENS 151.67 EACH CORNER LENS 54.68 EACH SHIPPING WILL DEPEND ON UPS ONLINE ACCORDING TO WEIGHT. MY GIVE DISCOUNT FOR DOUBLE PURCHASES.18009999194"

So, it looks like you will just have to get a few of your friends, go down to the local dealer and rough em' up a bit so that they give you all a deal!

Now go, use this new found knowledge to make the world a better place for us all! We must rid the world of orange lights! Good luck!!

Now if only SOA would offer a factory forced induction kit to the people who already own their cars like Toyota does and GM is about to do with all the 2.4L engine cars.

Hey ImprezaL, you can go to ANY dealership and get them, but remember, you need to take the part numbers with you or they will not know what you are talking about.

All this doubt about if they are the real thing is making me wonder....let me scroll up and read what I wrote earlier, you know, just to make sure.....scrolling.....oh look, there it is right there!

"clear corners and red over clear tail lights that are found on the WRX!!" -me

Hey, for all of you that don't believe me, don't buy em', that will make it more unique for people like me, ImprezaL, (edit) and North Ursalia!! woohoo!

DAMN !
it's about time you guys dicovered that...

i've been buying my STi parts at the dealer in Canada for a year now....

all impreza parts com from Japan anyway so if you have the part # for ANYTHING in the Japanese parts catalog you can order it at your dealer...

lucky for us we got a Japanese STi parts manual, the one for spare parts fro STi cars, even the 22B is in there... so that's what we've been using to order

Ownly - The difference here is that it shows up in their computer as an item that is normally stocked, just like a headlight or the evil orange corners/tails. In other words, you can get your lights within days, rather than waiting months and months for parts that they order from Japan. These are internal now. I am still waiting for a replacement part for my seat from Japan that they ordered back in Feb.

Imprezavation - I do have pics of them, but unfortunatley they are still on the roll of film in my camrea, I'm kind of a slacker when it comes to developing film, that's what happens when your dad's a photographer and you grow up having access to everything photo related, you get lazy about it. sorry.

Imprezavation - DUDE, check this out! The lights on my car are exactly like the lights on these cars! Probably even the same part numbers. This is also a very cool site....you need flash 4 and that is very easy to get.

It's worth a look.

So if all those STi parts are now listed in SOA's catalog, anyone know what the part #s would be for the 298mm four pot break kits? (rotor, caliper, dust cover...)

Thanks
