Default Need Sum Help BAD!!!

ok guys im new here but i need to know where i can find performance stats on a 87 subaru gl wagon. i got a speeding ticket in mine the other day and now im going to court to fight it. the cop said i was going 42 in a 25 zone. but on the ticket it says he had me pulled over 2 blocks from where i had just stopped. so now i have to prove to the court that that car could not get up to 42 mph in just 2 blocks. but where he actually had me pulled over at was almost a 1/2 mile away from where the ticket says i was pulled over at. the car is absolutly stock it has a 5 speed. any help with this will greatly be appriciated. i dont even know why he pulled me over the thing dont even look fast. maybe he just dont like forein cars cause he never pulled me over in my Trans Am. Thnx Guys

Dude with the ticket.. get a lawyer.. or pay the ticket.. your argument wont fly even with the slipping clutch and no HP thing.. at least not in a real court.. maybe things are different there in Mayberry.

135hp??? I wish my Legacy had 135hp!!!

My Legacy is rated at 130hp stock, my XT is rated at 97hp stock, most all other EA82's are in the 80-90hp range somewhere.

Hey my car has been known to out accelerate a stock 94 or so civic DX (just legal speeds of course, nothing stupid like going up to 80 MPH, just the normal old 55 on the expressway)

I really want to go down to the dragstrip here sometime so I can really unleash the car and know its safe and in a controlled environment. A properly launched 4WD suby with 100 and a 106 HP civic DX... think about it, the suby though heavier gets a much better take off. THe civic would have to be quite a bit faster just to even catch up (if I remember physics class correctly)

Maybe in the summer I will unleash the beast

well guys court is on monday im gonna go to where i got pulled over at and take pics of where he said i was pulled over at and where i was pulled over at. im gonna search harder for performance stats and that ****. im gonna measure how far it was from whaere i turned to where it said he pulled me over over at and just prove a subaru station wagon cant so 42 in 2 blocks. the only reason im going through this trouble is casue in iowa 15 and over is a moving violation and goes against insurance so more money to pay

How long are these 2 blocks? Just measure how long it takes you to get up to 42 mph and if that distance is greater than the distance between that stop light and where you got pulled over you will have one pee'ed off cop on your hands.
